There were whispers amongst the transport crew that he was a modern-day Elizabeth Bathory, bathing in the blood of his victims for eternal youth. Or, rather, eternal middle-age.
They imagined they were safe, with Hannibal back behind bars. They didn't count on the rampage Will would go through to get him back.

He has been reduced to a pitiful shadow of a man.
He is barely a shell of the feral, inhuman being he was at the beginning of this last game, in fact.
A crumbling facade.
But that is his biggest flaw. He has never been that ruthless.
And this is just another, additional disappointment, for he has finally lost his mind.
Gi-hun moans louder with every grind of their frantic hips, giving and taking with no complaint, his mouth opening to mutter his name over, and over again. His resentment sustained by his unwavering morals is on Sang-woo's lips now. As harmless as it is useless.
He has lost his mind too.
Or: Sang-woo and Gi-hun take an unexpected outcome during the squid game. A very bloody, emotional one.
