Summary

a little hurt at the start, but its comfort all the way down when we arrive on the witcher planet. healing, growing as people, cultural exchanges, making friends and settling the roots of a new home. not much of a plot at all until the end where we have a multi chapter arc that kind of shows off how the characters have changed by their experiences. the jedi and witchers meeting was like a bunch of telepathic cats pack bonding with werewolf cats.
I really enjoyed the way the author peppered the story with little bits on philosophy, parenting, learning to break patterns that hurt and choosing to keep those that heal. 100% perfect for a comfort read on days when stakes are stressful lmao. also author was so kind to indicate where smut started so we can easily skip, plus, they summarised any plot that happened during it!! best smut skipping experience i've had in my life lolll. Also obi wan kenobi being happy without needing to move mountains to get there is always a treat because my dude is like a cat with a raincloud of tragedy following him around. i absolutely adore this whole thing, and yoda's childrearing errors relegating him to professional sith shit stirrer suits him so well and gives the poor bastard a chance to actually be silly and not have to be the Most Trusted and Responsible Elder
also the last chapter hit me in the feels bro i love it

this is funny as fuck and i adore it. author please let me have a ballroom dance with u that i'll look upon fondly as an old lady and dramatize as the romance that never was to my niblings and baby cousins! your writing feels like the moment you see something beautiful and feel wonder after a depressive episode where that was impossible, the taste of someone's family recipe, or finding a decade old tree house filled with treasures. it gives me the same feeling as desert storm by blue sunshine i recall correctly!!
