Summary
Buck is leaning against the sink looking out into the garden. He’s in his pajamas, less of a head start on getting ready than Eddie had assumed, his hair fluffy, curling up on one side and flattened to his head on the other, gingery stubble glinting on his cheeks. He’s prepped lunch, something for Chris to eat when he wakes up most likely, and he turns when he hears Eddie come into the room.
‘I made coffee,’ he says, jerking his elbow in the direction of the Hildy but Eddie just steps closer, into Buck’s space and the sleepy, familiar warmth of him.
'Thank god for you,’ he says, his voice coming out rough, scratchy with disuse, as he snags Buck’s mug, his free hand landing on Buck’s jaw, leaning in without further thought.

Half asleep just before a shift Eddie kisses Buck, crucially they are not yet together.

Summary
Eddie just spent $2,500 (plus Maddie's fee, of course) to buy himself at a charity auction.
He wants to feel guilty about it, but he really can't bring himself to. Granted, there is the little bubble of nerve in his stomach because Maddie hadn't exactly said what her fee was and he has a sneaking suspicion it isn't going to be the monetary kind.
He did not, however, expect to want to spend money on someone else.
Or: Eddie gets so turned on by Buck at the auction that he wants to ride him into oblivion.

Summary
Buck doesn't bother with knocking and waiting like he has been doing with Eddie lately. Eddie had said the suspect's car was at his house and then he'd hung up, when Buck was already on his way out the door. Eddie could be in trouble. Chris could be in trouble.

Ryan blows warm breath gently against the fresh lines even though they don’t need help drying, and Oliver tries not to visibly react, but gooseflesh rises all the same. His stomach is tight with want.
“That necessary?” Oliver asks. His voice sounds gruff in his own ears.
Ryan’s mouth is still close to his arm. If Oliver shifted, the stupid hair on Ryan’s chin would scratch him. “Probably not.”
