Summary
Mel cancels her therapist sessions the very next day, in the early hours of the morning after contemplating the whole night. She won’t need therapy anymore, because she already has a plan.
Mel is going to kill herself.
Now, this isn’t as simple as it sounds. She can’t just jump into the Allegheny on her way to work. She has to be smart about it, because there is one huge caveat: What is going to happen to Becca once she is gone? This is what Mel has been thinking about the entire night, and she has finally come up with a solution.
She needs to befriend Frank Langdon.
Or: Mel comes up with an insane plan and drags Frank along for the ride.

She ends up taking half a dozen photos of her arm labeled before amputation? before she decides she should just pop over to the ED and have someone take a look. Though she starts to wonder if she accidentally drove herself to ninth circle of hell. Parked her stupid little car right next to Cain, Judas and….the other people Dante said were there.
Because her ex-husband’s new girlfriend Melissa King is the first to spot her horribly swollen arm.
Not that Mel could ever end up in any circle of hell. But this is Abby Langdon's personal hell. Which means there’s gonna be a version of her that only exists to witness her stupidity.
