what happens when in this place, the people that the pair of Mafiosos have lost (and have not lost) are living and will do everything they can to help what they perceive to be two unfortunate teens?
OR
Throw two grieving guys into a box (The My Hero Academia Universe). Shake it very hard (De-age them) and make them casually meet the alternative alive and happy versions of their loved ones. (And not so loved ones)
For the love of the game.
Oh and they go to UA eventually I guess.
