September 29, 1998
Raccoon CityRecently graduated from the New York Police Academy, rookie Leon S. Kennedy finds himself in hell when he arrives late for his first day on the job. He meets college student Claire Redfield in search of her brother, and together they brave the Raccoon Police Department while pursued by a monster from their worst nightmares. Together they find Sherry Birkin, a little girl in need of protection and Ada Wong, the enigmatic supposed FBI agent. Each of them came to Raccoon City with their own trauma and history, now they'll lean on each other to get through the night.
Leon and Claire survive nearly the entirety of the game together, with both playthroughs mixing to create one seamless journey. A character study on found family and trauma, and a rewrite of the RE 2 remake. Originally posted as "Wellcome Leon", removed after much revising.
