Soobin dragged a hand down her face, long nails scraping her tender skin. “You think this is about wanting? If it wasn’t hard for me, I would have sunk my teeth into you a long time ago.”
Soobin was finally entering the final phase of torpor, too afraid to take the blood she needed from a mere mortal, but Beomgyu quite liked the idea of being fed upon.

The guy's demeanor breaks momentarily. "Uh, no," he says in a soft voice, straightening to look up at Beomgyu, his business casual suit that's too askew after his long subway ride. "I'm— I'm waiting for my boyfriend." The guy has dimples that show at the slightest twitch of his lips.
