Peter slips his hands out from beneath his head and sits up with a smirk, pressing his lips to her shoulder over one of his old t-shirts that quickly became hers.
“Can’t help it,” he murmurs. “You tell people in The Met not to stare at the Mona Lisa?”
Gwen tuts, screwing the lid onto her nail polish and leaning over to place it on the bedside table. “The Mona Lisa is in the Louvre, stupid,” she says, smiling back at him.
“Point still stands.” He brushes her hair back from her face. “It’s beautiful wherever it is.”
