"She stumbled through the street. It was cold outside, but she couldn’t feel it. She noticed her breath, dissipating in the air, reminding her she was real. The rain caused an annoying drip down the side of her face, and no matter how many times she wiped it away it always came back. Over and over and over again, it was frustrating. She couldn’t feel the way the rain burned the scrapes on her knees, just that drip passing by the outside corner of her right eye. It just wouldn’t stop."
