Summary
Leo, or someone that looks like him, comes back into their lives, and maybe that gap between him and Izumi should close, but it doesn't. How can it, when the real Leo is right here in Izumi's hand? He's in his ears as he slips earbuds in and presses play. It's like he's alive still in these songs, and Izumi lets his body be steered by the sound of Leo's voice, moving through the steps of a dance at Leo's command. And as he dances until his body is damp with sweat, he can almost pretend it's enough, holding this slender ipod, red chrome glinting dimly in the practice room light.
He can't have Leo back, but at least he has this. He clings to it, returning day in and day out to the same songs, the same memories, again, and again.
It's fine, it's all fine. This much has to be enough.

Summary
"Why not?" Leo shifts, rubbing his thumbs in circles over Izumi's hipbones. His voice carries all the petulant whining of someone who never gets told no. It's fair. After all, he is the lord of this manor, a titled man with a domain to his right and a staff at his beck and call. There is little for him to want that he cannot have.
Except, of course, this.
"You know why not." Izumi says, irritated when he has little right to be. Of course Leo knows why, but why should he care? To him, the problems keeping the two of them apart are meaningless. What the lord of the manor wants, he shall have, the rest be damned. Would that things were so simple, Izumi thinks. -

“Sena, drop,” Leo completes the command with a sharp snap of his fingers, and he watches as Izumi’s expression turns lax, his posture slackening as his eyes lose focus.
“Good boy,” Leo smiles and reaches out to pat Izumi’s cheek. Izumi’s eyes don’t follow the motion, staring blankly in front of him, and Leo preens. His Sena is soo good for him.Or: Knights share Izumi for an evening, and Izumi is nothing but perfect for them.

Summary
“I can’t do it. I’ve tried and tried, but nothing works anymore. I can’t write, can’t compose, can’t make a single song! All of them, worthless, useless! I’ve tried so hard, Sena!” His voice rises in pitch at the end, and he feels like he’s choking on his own breath, shoving his head harder against Izumi’s shoulder.
Maybe this is real. After all, Izumi pushes right back, holding him steadily in place, squeezing Leo tight enough that he feels his ribs press in on his lungs.
“I know you have. And I’m telling you, it’s okay. You don’t have to do it any more. It’s time to go, okay?”or: Leo has a visitor in his room that can't be real, can he?
