    Summary

Magic was his life, all she remembers is blood. He lost his future, she lost her past.

Though Gale seems like the least dangerous member of their party, Tav suspects he's hiding something. Though Tav seems like the most lethal, Gale notices there's something off about her behaviors.

Keeping their inner demons at bay marks the fine line between keeping allies in their search for a cure to ceremorphosis, or being cast aside as liabilities. But perhaps if the latter comes to pass, they can lean on each other...If they can get past their grievous differences.

    -----
A plot-heavy fic focused on storytelling, character interaction, and diverting from canon enough to keep things fresh.
Full of mysteries, character growth, betrayal, schemes, unintended consequences, comedy, sex, and learning how to love again.
The romantic development is slow burn rivals-to friends-to lovers.
The Dark Urge is a non-Lolthsworn Drow Rogue named Tavrin.

    Summary

Cannor Coth is an over-the-hill, out-of-work envoy and erstwhile spy enduring his seventh year of exile from Baldur's Gate, his adopted home city. Along with his old pal Farago, Cannor carves a path westward from the wilderness to the city that will be familiar to BG3 players. This series is Cannor's recounting of what happened to them in the four tendays after infection by mind flayers—the story of how he became a bard.

This fic is more headcanon/vignettes than the game's major plot beats. It's also my first fic, so please be patient with any associated obliviousness and I'll try to make it worth your while. I'll probably fill in more tags and summary/info when I get a handle on how this site works.

    Summary

Astarion thinks the drow warrior with the war hammer is the perfect shield: controlled but lethal, and easy enough to use if he can make her want him.

Larsa has survived Menzoberranzan, exile, and the long work of smuggling other drow to the surface. She knows when someone is trying to make himself useful. She lets him anyway.

But the road to Moonrise leads through the Underdark, and neither of them is as free of the past as they’d like to think. As companionship gives way to hunger, ambition, and duty, both must decide what they are willing to become, and who they are willing to trust.

If you like your Astarion/Tav with slow-burn tension, difficult trust, drow lore, Underdark politics, older characters, messy trauma recovery, and a main campaign retelling where the romance is tangled up with darker fantasy stakes, this may be the story for you.

Influenced by all things drow, and 80s goth and folk music.

    Summary

Salvius, devoted apostle of Ilmater and gifted healer, thinks this story is about how she completes her seventh and final act of miraculous self-sacrifice while curing this band of exiles and miscreants of this parasite. About how she and the Blade of Frontiers chart a course through the wilderness of the Sword Coast, saving wretched souls and falling for each other. About finally returning home in honour after breaking her back in the name of the Crying God.

Nothing will ruin this for her, not even that lascivious vampire with his mouth full of sin and a soul in need of saving.

    ----

“Avail yourself as a tool to the weary - let them know you can be used however they might need.” She blows a sharp breath out of her nose. “Sounds like a pretty clear directive to me, don’t you think?”

For once, Astarion isn’t running his mouth with a cheeky retort. When she opens her eyes, he’s staring at Salvius with a curiously intense look. She can’t imagine what might have made him so pensive, only observes that even with the world spinning, he looks very still.

A low voice that doesn’t sound like hers asks, “Are you weary?”
