Summary
Moira’s penchant for studying all creepy critters large and small meant that she understood that there were apparently two time periods where Mongolarachne Jurassica roamed the earth. The first was roughly 165 million years ago during the Middle Jurassic age; and the second, incidentally enough, is during the late 21st century - that is to say, now.
Moira gets stuck in a glue trap. Chaos ensues.

She felt both empty and full at the same time. Heavy, but distant. Moira O’deorain was known for being tall in stature, and she took pride in how she could draw her height above others and look down on them, but in this moment as she dragged her nails across the top of her desk and crossed her office to sit on the settee in the corner, Moira felt smaller than she had in years. She stared at her hands placed in her lap, and slowly sunk into herself.
Moira struggles with mourning and saying goodbye to a past love she never recovered from.

Two months after the storm, Max and Chloe find themselves settling in the small town of Fork River in the northern mountains of Washington in the hopes to find some stability for a little while.
Disconnected and lost in the wake of losing everything that fateful week in October, Max hasn't been herself for a long time, and more than anything Chloe wants for her best friend to let her in.
There's something special about Fork River going on, and although Max hasn't used her powers since that Friday by the lighthouse she finds that there's still a connection between her and the supernatural. There's something out there that wants to give her hope again.
Chloe and Max have a long road to recovery and a lot to heal from, but they've got each other. There's more to life and fate than they ever knew before. A new adventure. A new love.
