Summary
After the coma, “Top 15 Proven Tips to Sleep Better at Night” is bookmarked on Buck's phone. He follows the tips religiously, more like a to-do list than a list of suggestions.
Unfortunately, it seems like the more he does to get to sleep, the less sleep he gets.
Exhaustion, a wedding ring in a toilet, and a forgotten birthday party come together to create the perfect storm.
Buck just hopes he can hold on without breaking.

Summary
Her thoughts stutter when Lando dips the tips of his fingers into the waistband of her sweats. She thinks they’re actually his, picked up from his hotel room floor after a night out at some point in the season when she hadn’t felt like doing the walk of shame down the hall in her own clothes.
“Yes?” Lando asks her, not pushing his hand deeper into her clothes, even as he presses himself against her back like he’s drowning and she’s his only life buoy.
OR Oscar buys a new apartment, and Lando is really into the view.

Summary
The first couple of dollars that the machine ate up without remorse were an annoyance, something that made Dennis sigh and unzip his wallet without thinking about it to try again. By the time that the vending machine had eaten seven whole dollars, in coins, and Dennis didn’t have anything to show for it, he was close to thumping his forehead against the cool glass and hoping he could derive some sort of enjoyment or nourishment from simply just looking at the colourful packages as they remained firmly in their coils.
~
5 times + 1 that Robby buys something for Dennis and makes him feel like he's about to keel over, right there and then.

Summary
“What are you doing here?” he asks his niece when she starts squirming back out of his embrace, carefully setting her down. He almost asks if she ran away from home, because he knows it would make her giggle, but thinks better of it. “Tea party? And I wasn't invited?”
“She's hanging out with her uncle Eddie today,” Eddie says, leaning back on his hands. He's smiling when he looks up at Buck, a real smile, and his whole face scrunches happily when Jee-Yun crashes into his side.
Buck feels like he needs to look away, but he has no idea how.
or: one toddler, two conversations, and so many missed opportunities for buck to act like a guy not in love with his best friend.

Summary
Lando might be going clinically insane, cursing and fuming and spewing out choice words that'll have his own grandmother rolling in her grave when absolutely no one save for his steering wheel will be able to hear. Still, he smacks his palm down on said steering wheel, horns blaring out.
But then he sees it, that opening right there, and that other lane seems to be faring slightly better. So he yanks on his steering wheel, absolutely floors it—pedal to the metal and all that—attempts to divebomb his way into that gap. He doesn't bother putting on his signal lights, doesn't check his mirrors or he'll hesitate. He’s nosing his way into the lane, he’s got it, he’s there, he’s an amazing driver unlike these terrible useless drivers who shouldn't have even been able to sit behind a wheel—
And then there's a terrible resounding crunch, his whole car frame shuddering from the impact. Lando takes a second to register what that even means, another second to look out the window and see the man floored on the tarmac with his motorbike, and he thinks: shit.
