Summary
Castiel Novak's life is fairly normal. He protects his pack, leads it to battle if needed, and defends himself from the elders who demand that he take a mate.
It all changes on a supply run to Purgatory, the nearby town. When passing the local bar known as the Fight Pit, Castiel catches a glimpse of shocking green eyes.
Suddenly, he finds himself wanting a mate just as badly as the elders want him to find one. But he isn't interested in the Omegas at the camp. No, Castiel has his eyes set on the beautiful, green-eyed Omega that he saw at Purgatory that day. But things won't be easy. With old fears to fight and older rivalries to settle, Castiel will have to ask himself just how far he'll go for love, and how much he's willing to give for his one true mate.

Summary
To use a scribe to write your letters is a sign of privilege. To be a scribe is... mildly better than a servant. When Stiles, scribe to Lady Kate Argent, is instructed to write a love letter to Lord Derek Hale in her stead, he has no idea just how far from plan things will go. He has no idea that this series of letters will begin a secret affair under the noses of his employers, will lead to him discovering the truth about his past family tragedy, and will make his head spin for both good and bad reasons. All he knows is 'Dear Derek' has some very lovely penmanship.

Summary
Derek's a drifter with no home, no destination, and no will to live. Stiles works on his family's failing cattle and horse ranch while all his friends are going off to college. When Derek falls asleep in a random barn, exhausted and half-starved, he doesn't expect to wake up on the other end of the sheriff's shotgun. And Stiles sure as hell doesn't expect his dad to invite the drifter in for breakfast.
