Something is rising on the horizon between them like daybreak, vivid and new as the burgeoning sorbet-colored dawn.
That’s what Kojiro has always been to Kaoru, after all—a small kernel of hope, his sweet skin always finding its way back to its rightful place, stuck between his teeth.
