   Summary

   Jedediah Smith, a veteran of the Great War and renown detective from Texas, is invited to New York City in the summer of 1926 by Detective Larry Daley. Little did he know that this invitation would lead to him rubbing elbows with a young Egyptian heir's family and their intolerable Roman lawyer. When a surprising death rocks the upper crust of New York society, Jedediah must dig deeper- with that lawyer hovering over his shoulder.
