"Oh, do you mean the thing in Shinjiro's room the other day?” Kotone looks amused. “C'mon, Senpai, don't tell me you're avoiding me because of that?”
“I did catch you two in an... unfortunate situation.” He doesn't know how to put it in any other way.
“I see…” She rests her elbow against the table, placing her chin on her hand, and remains silent for a moment. “Was it really that unfortunate, though?” Her tone seems playful.
Akihiko stumbles upon Shinjiro and Kotone in a private moment, and cannot get it ouf of his mind.

It doesn’t skip his notice. Now that he’s looking at her, really looking at her, he can see how her face flushes a little at the mention of Takeba. Her cheeks bloom with this slight pink hue.
Which he squints at, like he didn’t much understand why someone’s face might turn that colour. In his defense, he wasn’t quite expecting it, but she seems to crack under the pressure of his scrutiny because she startles and looks away.
Oh, he thinks. So that’s how it is.
Fuuka messes up dinner. Shinjiro tries to figure out what's bothering her.

As soon as you both stepped into the room, a gruff voice piped up with an irritated undertone. “Yo Aki, told ya to stop buying only chicken breast and broccoli during your grocery runs.”
Glancing upwards, you noticed a tall young man, probably a bit older than you, scowling at Aki with an exasperated expression. His brown hair was tied back in a casual ponytail, and he sported a black sweater with sleeves rolled up, as he stood by the kitchen fridge. His eyes, a gentle brown hue, contrasted with the chill of his present demeanor.
He turned to you and softened his expression, though not quite pulling his lips into a smile. “Sorry about that. I’m Shinjiro Aragaki, this idiot’s roommate.”
