    Summary

No matter what he thinks of himself, the truth of Kabru is simple: he wants what’s best. He’s a pathetic hypocrite, and he’s deeply uncomfortable with others’ discomfort. Especially Laios’. Well, perhaps only Laios’.

“Then maybe you should attack me." He goes on, already expecting the sputtered rejection. “You think you want to, what, bite me? Drink my blood. Eat me? If youー if you have a little, then maybe the taste will put you off it."

    Summary

Laios is wrapped up in about three different blankets, making for a thick, mismatched caterpillar in the center of the bed. He can only make out his eyes and up from the opening of the wrap-up, but even despite the dimmer light due to unopened curtains, Kabru can see how red and sweaty his forehead is. A fever. But, given the sweet, cloying scent even he can smell, it’s not just that.

A few days. He’d accounted for a few days early. A few weeks early is a completely separate matter.

Or, in which an unexpected and unsafe heat leads to an outcome Kabru hadn't seen coming.

    Summary

There are five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargain, depression, and acceptance.
In some ways, it made sense that Kabru went over those stages when he started to acknowledge his attraction to Laios, it was, after all, the death of his dignity and self respect.
He did want to fuck Laios, but he also had to be realistic, and the reality was that Laios was probably horrible in bed.

    Summary

“Not again,” he hears Satoru muttering one day as they hike up the usual path to the school, and when Suguru turns, the question sitting on his tongue dissolves away. Because Satoru’s not looking at him at all, but rather a familiar group of girls a few feet behind them. They’re all watching the two of them curiously, with one girl in particular waving energetically at Suguru. Hesitantly, Suguru waves back, and a scowl forms on Satoru’s face.

“They really do bother you,” Suguru notes when the girls finish waving farewell and trek back down the mountain, turning back to Satoru, who quickly and unsuccessfully tries to turn his expression placid again.

“No, they don’t,” he tries anyway, and Suguru raises a single eyebrow.

“Really,” he says dryly, and watches with no small sense of amusement as Satoru flushes lightly under his scrutiny.

“They don’t,” Satoru insists, but he’s still refusing to meet Suguru’s eyes.

    ---

or, Suguru finds himself a fanclub and comes to the (mostly incorrect) conclusion that Satoru must be jealous

    Summary

It would have been easy to describe Kyojuro as 'a ray of sunshine', and for Akaza, Kyojuro was undoubtedly a ray of sunshine, since after exactly one week of being hired, he was waiting for nothing but the «Good morning Akaza!» of Kyojuro to know that it would indeed be a good day.
Kyojuro often followed him during his duties at Kimetsu Farm, and Akaza enjoyed his company. He liked talking to Kyojuro, joking, or even having small competitions to test his strength against a beast like him. They had become practically inseparable, to the point that by now, everyone knew that to find one of the two, it was enough to look for the other.
It was all perfect. Then there was what Akaza had renamed 'The Douma’s Incident', which had led him to… different considerations.
