Summary
A new law forces young heroes into public high school...but there’s a catch: the Teen Titans must take on civilian identities that even they themselves don’t know.
Now they’re fighting two battles: saving the city… and surviving high school.
In this AU, their hero identities mostly follow canon, but the story lives in the chaos of teenage life (75% civilian, 25% Titans). Friendships blur, loyalties shift, secrets pile up, and relationships get messy fast. No one knows who anyone really is, not even each other.
The story follows four main arcs (both romantic and personal): Robin & Starfire, Kid Flash & Jinx, a complicated love square between Beast Boy and Raven, and Roy Harper’s journey. While other characters and ships will have their moments, these are the core focuses, and endgame ships are already set.
This is a long, evolving story, with tags added as they become relevant. It’s also a rewritten and much more developed version of my original fic from FanFiction.net.
Content note: This story explores heavier topics, including, but not limited to, abuse, bullying, substance use, manipulation, and the consequences of sex, reflecting the realities of a high school environment.
