were often harvested without consent.Deacon and Preston have managed to get a transporter that can bring people from other worlds. They failed with Nate that so many hopes had ridden on. Now they try again with someone new.

Danse wants to fulfill his duty but with few women left in this branch of the Brotherhood and his missions taking him away for long periods of the time it simply is not feasible. . . until he meets Elenora, a woman who comes with a ready-made family, the only catch is they have to find her son first.
