Summary
She’d dreamed of Emmrich, informing her that the Liches had arranged a meeting for her. Robed figures who called themselves the Executors had revealed how she’d made it to the Necropolis as a child. Told her that they’d plucked her from the Fade, placed her in the crypts, set her on a path of their own making to restore what they had lost. Told her that the Void had used her connection with Spite as a bridge into Thedas, that she needed to go back to the time before Solas’s ritual, and do it all again. And then, they had left her with a final instruction before waking:
Leave the Crow. Spite must not find you.Even in her dream, she’d lunged for her mageknife at that, plunged her hands into the Fade with an echoing “NO.”
There is no realm — dream or otherwise — in which she’d obey that command.When the Executors send Daphne Ingellvar back in time to relive the events of her time with the Veilguard, they forbid her from doing one thing: saving Lucanis from the Ossuary.

Summary
A collection of pieces featuring mine and my friends' Rooks for OC Kiss Freedom Week 2026 on tumblr.
1. ace in the hole: Viola de Riva keeps watch while Chiara is on assignment.
2. flush: Daphne Ingellvar and Donella Dellamorte encounter each other in the halls of the Dellamorte manor, shortly before Daphne's departure.
3. deuces wild: Daphne and her fellow Watcher, Alix Preisinger, spend a morning together in her dormitory in the Necropolis.
4. dead man's hand: Daphne strains herself to be sure she and Bea de Riva do not lose more than they already have.
5. two pair: Faction Swap AU. Daphne de Riva assists Viola Ingellvar in the catacombs of the Necropolis.
6. call the bluff: Hockey AU. After divorcing Ayden, Daphne shares a night with their partner, Nazri, and attempts to figure out where things stand between them now.
7. solitaire: Daphne makes the most of the time she has left before returning to Nevarra after aiding Ziva Fontaine and the Shadow Dragons with a haunting in Minrathous.
8. suited hand: Modern AU. Daphne and Ayden celebrate a clandestine engagement with a trip abroad. -

Summary
When she learns that The Lighthouse -- the oldest queer bar in the city, is close to closing down -- Daphne recruits help from her old flame, Lucanis Dellamorte, also known as Spite, the most famous drag act in town. She's spent years denying her lingering feelings for him, but when his arrival at the only place she's ever really considered home forces her to confront her deepest fears, she's not sure she can muster the courage to overcome them.

Summary
Lucanis Dellamorte's grandmother is First Talon of the Crows, the most infamous crime syndicate in Antiva City, and when her Talons start dropping like flies, Lucanis takes it upon himself to investigate their ritualistic deaths. When he meets a dead end, he hires Daphne Ingellvar, the owner of a local occult bookstore, to help him get to the bottom of things. He thought he knew everything about the dark under belly of Antiva City, but working with Daphne reveals unfathomable depths.

Summary
It should be relief that floods Daphne’s system when she returns to the Villa, in the late hours of the evening, and moves past the several layers of Crow security stationed from the gardens, to the hallways, to the First Talon’s private wing. Relief that she is still easily admitted, that orders have not been changed in the time she’s been away — that Lucanis’s insistence she is always welcome here has not worn thin. Relief that she finds him not in his office, but in his chambers, in bed, sleeping.
But it’s something more like envy that blooms in her chest, a nostalgic ache; yearning for the nights he could not sleep without her near. She should be happy, that he’s doing well. But the nights she’s slept soundly herself, since their parting, can be counted on one hand, and most of them have occurred back here. With him.Rook returns to Villa Dellamorte, and Lucanis, after a year apart.

"I wouldn't. Hurt Rook. Never Rook." Spite can affect Lucanis physically, can touch and even hurt him, but it always feels strange, not like the warmth of flesh. He ghosts a hand up Lucanis's inner thigh, and it leaves him feeling cold, shivering under the touch from where he feels so hot. "Let me. Help you. I'll show you. Safe."
