He could feel everyone's burning gazes on him. This needed to conclude quickly, lest he make things worse, but he had no real solution in sight.

At the behest of his king, Strohl finds himself more idle than he'd like in the weeks following the coronation. Armed with an unshakable desire to do more for him, and countless lingering doubts, he revisits an old fascination, one he hopes will aid in the goal of bringing lasting peace. Yet, as he delves into this new project and solidifies his place within Will's dream for the country, he finds those old wounds cut deeper than he realized.

Summary
After agonizing weeks of inaction turning to harrowing attempts to repair the state of the army at a breakneck pace, Strohl finally managed to make progress, and gained a title to show for it. He grabbed a spoon, scooped up some of the stew and held it out to Will expectantly, one hand cupped underneath to catch any drops. Without thinking, Will leaned forward, breaching the distance between them, and let himself be fed.
“Good?”
Will lifted his head. A tired smile spread across Strohl’s face, and just its mere existence made the cold much easier to bear.
“Good.”
