Summary
The fifth morning in the Whirling, and the second morning of the man in the wig pretending not to stare at you as you walk down the stairs, you decide you need to know who he is.
(For the good of the case, of course.)

Summary
It’s the bottom of the ninth. It’s the first day of the season and it’s also the second game of the series, and it’s the bottom of the ninth but it’s also the first inning, and Nico stopped trying to make sense of how those numbers add up a long time ago.
It’s been the first day of the season at least a hundred times, by his estimate.

Summary
The Scorekeeper draws their coat tighter around their shoulders as they pick their way across the tall grass. The ground is still halfway muddied from the late-offseason snow; their boots sink in uncomfortably and their footsteps make no sound. The ground feels like it will swallow them whole.
(The Scorekeeper, and Dunn Keyes, and being a person in a world that does not want you to be a person.)

Summary
A very straightforward dream sharing soulmates AU.
"“I dunno,” Jason muttered. “I fucked it up, didn’t I? God, I’m stupid, you're supposed to ask important questions, not just listen to them tell you you’re good at being Robin!”
“They said what?” Bruce exclaimed.
“What?” Jason snarled, hackles raised. “You don’t think I’m good at being Robin?”
“I think you’re great at being Robin,” Bruce stated. “But, I also think that your soulmate who you don’t know shouldn’t know that you’re Robin.”"

Summary
“Bruce—” Jason pauses, stealing another glance at the note like it will change before his eyes, and it doesn’t. He glares harder at B, drawling, “This is a hundred-dollar bill.”
Bruce looks back over, pausing with his newly acquired pen in hand. He drops the page he’d started reading again and says as he shifts his gaze towards Jason properly, “Yes…?”
Jason’s lips press together in stubborn deadpan but apparently, Bruce doesn’t see where he’s going with this. Which, okay, sure—
“Why did you give me a hundred-dollar bill?”
Or an abridged love letter of a young Jason’s (lack of) acceptance of Bruce’s casual displays of wealth

Summary
“You would do it again,” Tim concluded, sighing, his tone bitter.
Jason knew he wouldn’t. He didn’t think he could do it again. He sidestepped the question, tightening his hands around Tim.
“I’m worried about you,” he said, softly, and Tim heard every bit of the pain and hurt Jason kept so carefully hidden away.
He’d always thought it must have been easy for Jason to leave, since he seemed to just fall off the face of the planet, ignoring his calls, ignoring him.
He didn’t like being wrong.- Language:
