Summary
It's disorienting at first, going about his day without feeling the familiar push and pull of his grace inside his vessel. Gabriel thought he knew how to act human without the help of his grace, courtesy of adopting his Pagan persona to evade Heaven's gaze.
This is the closest to human Gabriel has ever been. And he decides very quickly that he doesn't like it.

Dean finds an interesting symbol in Kevin's angel tablet notes and, against Sam's counselling, uses it in the heat of battle with a pair of angelic assassins. Side effects include pain, disorientation, and uncontrollable new appendages for the Winchesters. A disgruntled Castiel and a delighted Gabriel show up to help. Hunting (and life) gets interesting when wings are involved. Includes artwork!
(Both relationships are featured in detail, but the plot happens to be *slightly* more Sabriel-driven.)

“Who is Zaddy Night Shift?” Mel asked, at least two decibels louder than the entire previous conversation. Princess started walking over. Samira put her face in her hands. “I am Zaddy Night Shift,” Dr. Ellis said, breezing by. “And I don’t play house. I provide a loving home for the right woman.”
“My heart belongs to another, king.” Trinity said absently. Mel looked at her in confusion. “Not you, Melancholy.”
“I do not understand what’s happening.” Mel announced cheerfully.
