Summary
Its the summer of 1992, the party have all come back to Hawkins for their summer break, and with the local baseball team, the Hawkins Hawks, being top of the league, what better way to spend the endlessly warm days than cheering the team on in the crowd. However, the annoying thing about baseball games is how those stupid jumbotrons never stop with their stupid kiss cams, until one day, Mike and Will happen to be on screen in that familiar pink heart border.

4 times Mike and Will are shown on kiss cam together, once when it causes more good than harm.

Mike doesn't want to run into Will before he is mentally prepared and knows what to say, but that plan goes out the window before he can even settle into his college dorm.

Finally, Nancy steps out into the hall. “Mike what do you—” Her expression shifted from annoyed to worried at the sight of blood painting the floor. Her eyes dart over to Will who pushes himself up to look up at them.
Will smiles widely with Mike's blood between his teeth.
Mike grabs Nancy and drags her back into her room, locking it behind him. “Something is wrong with Will.”
Or Will gets possessed again after returning to a Hawkins that's split in four.

This is a fanfiction story about the characters Theo Decker and Boris Pavlikovsky from The Goldfinch. I have read the book, but most of this will be based off the movie (with details that are canon in the book). I really wanted to see more of the two's deep connection in the film. I feel as though there wasn't enough buildup to their kiss, so I am here to fill in that gap!Theodore Decker, only 13 at the time of his mother's untimely demise. A demise that shook him to his core, unravelling every fiber of his being, every spindle that made up who he was. A demise that was his fault. In the thick of his seemingly never-ending, all-encompassing grief, he meets a peculiar boy with a noticeable accent and a similarly troubled upbringing who makes him /feel/.
