By all means, Mustafa shouldn't have even been thinking about Neville anymore. It had been over two years since he left WWE, and they were both at completely different points in their careers. It was pointless to dwell on the past or give any real thought to what could have been — all that mattered anymore was what the future held, and it looked like their respective paths were headed in opposite directions.
And yet, despite all of this, there Mustafa was. Seated in his rental car, in the parking lot of some cheap motel he had planned to spend the night at. Neville's number dialed on his phone.

On any other February 14th Cedric would’ve considered the heart-shaped box of chocolates from his mother that he’d found in his bedroom after school to be cute, but on that particular day it seemed pathetic. He would never admit that to her face, naturally, but it was all he could think about after he saw it sitting on his pillow (and as he worked his way through the whole box). While almost everyone else he knew was out on dates, or just going out period, he was sitting at home. Watching tacky romance movies. Eating chocolates.
Thinking about how the one person he wanted to be out with at that moment was spending time with someone else.

Summary
All it took was that one show of dominance from Neville, and Mustafa was completely thrown off. He was only able to get a few more hits in before ultimately he was “put in his place”, as the King would so eloquently put it. Mustafa had been competing for years, and he’d found his way out of tighter spots in the past, so this should be an easy fix.
But at the same time, Mustafa knew that no matter what, he was always going to be like putty in the King’s hands. Like it or not, he was weak for him.
