Has some trickster god decided I was to be their new form of entertainment?
As a broke 25 year old— death was not something on my agenda, not a scheduled one at least and frankly it’s not great for the already damaged psyche.
Quirks also— are an actual fucking skill and not some little thing you can learn in a day with some effort and determination.
In addition to being dropped into a country with no citizenship, everything I do is now illegal! Fucking great.
A dream is not as great when it’s no longer a fantasy. When it’s real, visceral reality.
Oh and how lovely, the first character I meet is the villain I’ve painfully obsessed over for ten years. That’s just GREAT. SUPER CONVENIENT. Let’s see how I fumble this.

Summary
( Previously Titled Once Blessed, Twice Cursed ) Undergoing some reworking.
“This isn’t happening…” I seem to be saying that a lot lately, and unfortunately the universe, the utter cunt, loves disproving me– every damn time.
There is a surprisingly short list of anime or manga universes I would heavily dislike being ‘isekaied’ to, hypothetically speaking. Universes that I would rather be caught dead in than have to live through the plot of those worlds, figuratively and quite possibly literally. Worlds that no amount of irresistible anime men and women would outweigh the traumas and danger of the timeline.
Jujutsu Kaisen, in all of its angsty glory, is one of those aforementioned anime or manga. Though, it seems that whatever deity, inter-universal mechanics, or possibly just fate being the bitch she is, decided that’s where I would wake up on a random Sunday in May.
Fuck Gege Akutami.

“But you didn’t want to ask and make it real.”
“I didn’t want to die,” you confess honestly. “As soon as you knew who I was, I was dead.”
“But you’re not.”
You blink, “huh?”
“Dead.” The pad of his thumb presses into the side of your neck, both of you feeling your pulse beat against his touch. “You’re not dead.”
“Why?” It comes off your tongue before you can think better of it, leaving behind a sour note of regret as you hear the question leave your mouth.
“Because this makes you more useful.”
{ Abandoned; decided info in this fic wasn’t worth its own grand piece, the vital stuff can easily be added into the real plot I had locked and loaded for post-war life. New version has the same title, just minus the “abandoned” part.}
