Whizzer is having the best days in a long time with the people he loves the most: his new family. It's a shame he never bother to tell them his past. Running away from home at 15 and having a twin, isn't it so important, right? Right.

Summary
A year after the events of Season 5, Mike publishes his first book titled “He Loved Me”. Will goes to a small bookshop in New York to watch his friend’s band play a show, and stumbles across the book in a discount bin. The discounted copy has a severely damaged cover. He doesn’t see who wrote it until he finishes the book.
Inside the book, Mike writes about two friends. To an outsider, it would appear to be a heartwarming story focused on an inseparable pair who grow up together, later admitting their romantic love for one another. It is a tale that emphasizes the importance of making the hard choice, and dealing with the fallout rather than taking the easy way out.

“Well, I had to wait until Trina was asleep, but I wanted to apologise.” I never fully realised how sweet his voice sounded until now, all groggy and soft. The things I would do to have him in my bed, all soft and sweet. I’d tousle his hair, or whisper things to him as he drifts off to sleep, or. Well I’d probably do worse things than that, but he’s too soft right now for me to even entertain that idea. I do a little, but that’s not the point.
“About what..?” His voice has dropped to a whisper, but I can still hear the smile dripping in his voice.“For not calling. But I’ll be free the next few weeks if you maybe want to…?”
“Are you asking me on a date? Because if so, the answer is yes.” He says before descending into giggles.
Marvin has never been the most romantic person, so having to juggle both his wife and a boyfriend (well, maybe?) is a little too much for him.

Whizzer Brown is a pretty boy. Popular, cheerful, leader of many clubs, in many sports, very confident in everything he does. Everyone looks up to him in some way - they want to be his friend, they want to be him, or they want to date him.
Marvin Blumenfeld is quite the opposite. A lone wolf with just a few close friends, a member of the debate team just so he can fight without getting in trouble, on the mathletes team because he's smart and the school requires everyone be in at least two extracurricular afterschool activities.
No one would expect much to happen if or when these two would cross paths, but Marvin finds himself intrigued by wondering just how much of Whizzer is fake, and Whizzer finds himself intrigued by wondering nearly the same thing about Marvin.
