“I’m listening, Grand Master.”
The most words Lohen had spoken in the past five minutes. Varka couldn’t waste this opportunity!
He let out a sigh. “You can’t blame me for finding that hard to believe. Repeat what I just said.”
Lohen let out an even longer sigh. “You want me to clean out the late Captain Adorno’s office and put his most precious belongings in a box for his loved ones to receive. Heard you loud and clear.”
In which Lohen is given a unique task as the Fifth Company's Vice Captain. It isn't fun, but it isn't pointless either.

Summary
If there’s one thing he knows about Diluc, it’s that it’s stupidly easy to rile up the man if you push his buttons a certain way.
It’s something Lohen learned very early on when he first started to know Diluc more. Perhaps it’s due to his upbringing as a noble that he gives off the impression that he has impeccable patience, but Lohen knows better. Underneath the thinly veiled pleasantries is a man with uninhibited desires that he keeps neatly under wraps—yet Lohen wants nothing more than for Diluc to let loose a bit more.
So when an opportunity presented itself when Kaeya invited Lohen and a few other knights for a round of drinks at Angel’s Share and he saw that Diluc was tending to the bar, he figured it wouldn’t hurt to see how far he could test Diluc’s patience in a public setting.

Summary
Veritas hadn't even tried to stop Aventurine from pulling him in by the chain at his chest and kissing him hard and biting. That had been his first lapse in judgment. The second came soon after, then the third, fourth, fifth.
Sex creates idiots. Veritas knows this well. He wishes he knew how to stop himself. He doesn't want to stop at all. Aventurine is far too good at pushing his buttons. Making him stupid. Making him care. They meet again in less than a week.

Aventurine reacts strangely to gentleness. Veritas cares entirely too much.Series
