Nicholas furrows his brows, "What do you mean?" Nicholas watches as Euijoo lifts his gaze up from his lap to Nicholas who seems to be trying to figure out how that's even possible, "You've been with guys, though."
Euijoo nods as he swirls his straw around in the glass, "I've never bottomed."
Nicholas blinks, "You've never bottomed?"
Euijoo feels judged now. He can feel Nicholas' and Fuma's eyes on him as he nods meekly.
Fuma gasps, "There's no fucking way. Look at you!"
Euijoo has never bottomed and Kei, alongside the help of Fuma is determined to show him how great it can be.

He's not fine now, Euijoo knows that.

Every Omegas dream was to have a child. This is what Nicholas had been told ever since the day he was a young boy, no designation currently in sight for him but this was told to him like it were a fact.
According to, quite literally everybody, Omegas were born to care for a child. They naturally had instincts to care for a baby: pheromones that released a soothing scent, their want to make a nest, their gentle purring that they let out during comfort.
So why does it feel so wrong now that Nicholas stands here, in the quiet restroom with a pregnancy test held between his fingers, clearly blinking positively at him?

The interns' gray sweater that sits over his collared shirt is wrinkled, he must have worried about this day for months on end since getting a letter of approval or maybe the subway was so busy that there was no way he could've gotten here without getting his clothes wrinkled.
"Are you Byun Euijoo?" His soft is gentle and sweet as he asks, his wide round eyes remind Euijoo of a puppy.
Euijoo nods promptly, "Yes and you're our intern that'll be joining us today, yes?"
"What's your name?"
The intern gulps, pulling at a loose thread, "Um Riki. Riki Maus." He nods as he says his own name before he nervously adds on rather quickly, "Most people just call me Maki, though."Or: The new intern at Euijoo's work confesses to Euijoo often, causing a dilemma in his work and self.

Summary
Harua is not an easy person to get along with. He's not the kind of boy you'd build a life with— sleepy cuddles and dates filled with laughter that eventually evolve into a shiny ring, a home in the suburbs and three children running around the yard joyously.
He's the kind of boy you'd whisper and giggle about in the corner of the library with your friend, words of how he's so creepy and strange would lace your tongues. Everyone nearby would know about how disgusting he is. Poor Harua, they'd think, so revolting that people can't help but gossip about him.
They're not wrong but they're also not right. Harua isn't that simple.

Summary
Something in Fuma snaps, Nicholas isn't entirely sure what but he sure as hell knows why. It might have been the tone of his voice, the way he was practically fighting with Fuma over his stupid collar, or even the way he accidentally said it in a cutesy voice. The same voice he’d use to tease Fuma and Euijoo regularly. Either way, the only thing Nicholas knows is Fuma absolutely despises it.
Fuma reaches to rip the collar off of Nicholas, the bell jingling in his hand as he grips Nicholas’s chin with the exact same collar he’s taunting him with, “I am your owner, not your friend.”
Fuma turns back in the passenger seat of the car as he adds on, “Remember that.”
Euijoo and Fuma teach their hybrid a lesson.

"Not so loud,” Taki whines into Maki’s ear, his voice is soft as he speaks and even so, Maki can still hear the pout forming on his lips as he speaks, “You don't want to wake anyone up, do you?”
Maki shakes his head as he shakily breathes in, his body trembling as he inhales. It feels dumb to even answer Taki in this very moment, the answer was obvious to the both of them. They didn't want any of the members knowing what they were getting up to late at night.

Euijoo’s hushed prayers echo in his ears as he stares ahead at the screens where they display Effie digging into the bowl of names. Nicholas can't think about anything except for a plea to anyone, anything for it to not be Harua. His eyes plant themselves on the rows far ahead of him and Euijoo, practically glaring into the back of Harua's head. His eyes stay stuck onto Harua's chocolate brown strands even when he hears the crinkling of paper over the microphone.
His heart slows as he listens to her clear her throat into the microphone, hoping that one of Euijoo's many prayers work. He exhales a shaky breath as she opens her mouth to speak.

Nicholas' name is written gently in the center, the thickness of the pen fading with every few syllables— as if the author didn't really want to write his name. "Euijoo?" Nicholas can practically hear Maki's frown as he mutters the other man's name, "Who is that? Do you know him?"
"...Yeah." Nicholas swallows his past sorrow, "He's an old friend."

"You know Emma?"
It's a simple question. A question that should come with a simple answer. Unfortunately, Trinity's questions are anything but.
Dennis tilts his head to the side, deciding how exactly to answer Trinity's question without getting one of Trinity's well known teasing smile and words. His eyes glance towards Emma, her sweet doe eyes that holds his gaze as if they were the only two in the world. He breaks his gaze away from hers only to meet Trinity's wide eyes that stare back at him with realization.
"Oh my god." is all Trinity says for Dennis to begin freaking out.
A misunderstanding from Trinity about Dennis' relationship with Emma causes the most pain and suffering for him in a shift. (Not really)

Shane works hard, almost too hard.
It feels strange for Ilya to complain about his lover working hard and being good at his job that he's constantly so busy but he can't help as he feels bad for Shane. But you have to understand Ilya, Shane is not great at managing his stress levels which usually ends in the man being worn out.
He's seen Shane after a hard day of work– he's quiet, his voice soft as he speaks to Ilya, his voice light and kind even throughout his sluggish movements. Ilya knows Shane isn't someone who's usually very loud, opting for a more relaxed voice but even then, it's not usual for Shane to speak so low and murmured–
like now.

"Awful day. I don't want to get into it."
"So awful that you can't get into it but you can smoke a cigarette?" Euijoo nearly laughs out loud at Nicholas' choice of actions. Instead, he scoffs softly, so soft that he's sure the wind has blown it away along with the cigarette smoke the second it escaped his mouth.
"Yeah," Nicholas looks up at him from the cold floor of the balcony. Without another word, Nicholas lifts the cigarette out from his mouth and extends his arm out to Euijoo. A quiet offer of easy relaxation.
As a young boy, Euijoo's mother had drilled into him that the second a cigarette touched his pure lips and inhaled the cancer causing air into his body, he would immediately die. Euijoo knows this not to be true at the age of twenty three but still, he hesitates at Nicholas' offer.
The first (sober) cigarette of Nicholas' life and Euijoos' last.

A problem that she doesn't even want to think about for longer than a minute out of fear that she'll begin having a raging headache that only digs nails into her temples. She's in love with her one of her student's mother.

Nicholas isn't a typical omega.
His heat cycle is so, so strange that Euijoo can never manage to keep track of it even if he tried (which he does actually, with a calendar and all.) Now typically most omegas heats come every two months, like his and Harua's does. and maybe if you have a health condition, it'll come every six months which is odd but not concerning. Now here comes Nicholas, whose heat comes once a year as if it were a holiday.
However, Nicholas is only human after all and he was bound to forget about his heats at some point.

the first time taerae meets ricky, taerae is off put by him. taerae is no stranger to weird people in the diner but ricky isn't like that. it's just something about him that taerae can't quite put his finger on.
taerae takes no time to greet him and ricky takes even less time to order. he doesn't even glance at the menu, he gazes into taerae's eyes with his own deep eyes and simply says, "just a coke will be fine."

ricky is one of taerae's regular customers at the diner he works at and ricky oddly only orders a coke. taerae is intrigued by this, to say the least.

Leo can always tell when Sangwon has something stuck in his brain, his mind always strays away from the conversation at hand, his anxieties pulling him away from what is right in front of him. It happens so often that Leo can't even be all that shocked when the moment Sangwon lets go of the bundle of nerves in front of him, revealing it all.
Sangwon's eyes are unable to meet Leo's as he messes with the edge of his fingernail, his eyes straight ahead at the cold, dead grass: "I don't think I can do this anymore."
