Your hands are unworthy when she kisses them, assurance spilling from her lips. She kisses them, and your traitorous heart sings for hers. She kisses them, and you have never felt more loved (and yet your selfish heart can't help for a different love). She kisses them, and you feel more at home than you ever had before.

Summary
This is a hypothetical set of two self internalized conversations Illyana may have had with herself in answer to the question from Piotr as to why she let his possession by the powers of the Juggernaut happen. A bit more detailed exploration as to her inner motivations and drives.
This was the first Fan Fiction story I wrote. Based in part upon the work of Wanderlustlover's story Pigmentation of Fact which I consider to be the best Illyana story ever written. Ah if I could only write 1/10 as well.
