Summary
I began rewriting an old, embarrassing rp I've played with a friend since I was fifteen. The issues we had and the melodramatism that colored our writing have since then turned into a more realistic base of a story that runs through several generations of young people, who suffer from several different types of issues. The original story no longer fits the future now, as we have ended up changing the details of the past many times. There are some things that stay the same, especially the facts that Asuko grows weed in his dorm and Yeriko is a selfish spoiled rich kid who tries to be a good person and fails.
Also, the world hasn't been kind to any of these kids.
This is a story about the different solutions they come to as individuals, while having hope for all their futures. I'm employing all the clichés here, be warned.

Summary
Wei Wuxian calls Wen Ning to him to try and find out what's been happening to his friend all these years. What he finds is that someone has been using his friend in terrible ways.
Wei Wuxian reached out to touch the manacle around one of Wen Ning's wrists. Wen Ning moved faster than his eye could follow, his hand snapping out and clamping around Wei Wuxian's wrist instead.
"Wen Ning," Wei Wuxian said, a nervous little laugh in his voice. "Let me go."
Wen Ning didn't move. He stared at Wei Wuxian with nothing behind his eyes.

"Can you feel this?" Wei Wuxian said, leaning in towards Wen Ning's face. Wen Ning watched Wei Wuxian move closer to him until he had too much to look at. Suddenly, Wei Wuxian planted a kiss on Wen Ning's lips.
Wen Ning's eyes widened minutely. If he were alive, he'd certainly be a blushing mess right about now. Even so, he jolted back in surprise at the contact, making a strange sound in the back of his throat.
"I'll take that as a yes," Wei Wuxian giggled.
