Summary
You found him on the floor of the bathroom, chest heaving, skin tight against his collarbone. His body let off streaks of steam from the tense muscles, his neck and back clearly straining with some sort of stress. He had one quivering hand curled into the fabric of his newly-donned shirt, his eyes scanning every entrance - or exit, as he later told you he was looking for - biting his tongue. With how his hand had dug into the skin of his chest, you could only have a guess that there was an ache there, that he couldn't catch his breath. A panic attack.
You'd sat beside him that night, slowly, as though dealing with a timid animal. One of your hands moved to clasp his loosely, your thumb stroking over his knuckles, over the toughened skin and scars, over the callouses that rooted themselves deep in his palm as you pulled that hand away from his chest to give him space to breathe. You watched his lungs slowly draw in air again, free from the cage of his grasp.
"Leon, honey, what's up?" you murmured, bringing his other hand into yours.
It took a moment for him to answer.

Trembling hands reached to block his nose from the awful stench he could still taste on the back of his tongue as he reached his arm out for the phone that sat on his desk. His hand quivered punching in the numbers, holding his breath from the effort, which only added to the cramping in his stomach. His eyes were starting to haze, his vision swimming every time he moved his head, the numbers becoming white messes of soft lines. His trembling only got worse the more he tried, until a hand enveloped his. It was cool and comforting. Another familiar hand pressed against his forehead, and through his blurry vision (when did he take his glasses off?) he saw a familiar mess of colours, a familiar shape, a familiar person. He tried to speak, but the words stuck in his throat, becoming only an incoherent mumble. Since when did it get this bad...?
"Harves, what happened to you...?"

You could sense the hesitation in his eyes, in the way his mouth moved, in how his arms were stiff, and how he didn't look at you. You though that it might’ve been the right chance to convince him into it.

Technically, I wrote this as Male Reader/Sebastian, HOWEVER, as of the second chapter, there are no personal pronouns used for the reader, so it can be read as a female reader
