    Olruggio’s heart is pounding hard, so much he fears it might burst out of his chest. Usually, the reasons behind something like that are either strenuous physical activity or a stressful deadline, but, right now, he can’t quite blame it on any of those.
    It’s Qifrey, pressed up flush against him in a narrow alleyway.

    Or: Qifrey keeps everyone at arms' length, even during sex. Olruggio tries to bridge the gap anyway.
