Summary
Simon lives in Filament, a small mining town in the country of Slagton in the late 19th century. Airships float in the skies, and angels fall from them. This angel, however, is being chased by pirates, the army, and a mysterious spy. He holds the key to a secret city, which is more myth than real. But the drawings in his mother's journals line up with the angel's story.
On the run, Simon and Grace must escape peril, find the hidden city, and discover the truth for themselves with only a magic stone to guide them.
