Summary
Keith is plagued with chronic loneliness, never feeling like he's able to let anyone in and feel safe. In the refuge of nighttime solidarity, he finds he is able to relax his guard and not fight to keep his walls up.
Unfortunately, this leaves him unprepared when he encounters his fellow paladin at late hours and finds himself feeling uncharacteristically vulnerable.
