(“A teenage criminal?”, asked Gabriel, looking at Jack who just shrugged like he had nothing to do with the whole thing. It wasn’t the first criminal in their ranks, and the whole “teenager” part was something they all could just ignore.
“I’m almost eighteen”, said McCree, mouth curling in displeasure.
“Sure, that’s the important part here”, snorted Gabriel.
“I’m a good shot, you know”, said McCree, and there was a glint in his eyes — a bit of pride, a bit of challenge.
He wasn’t lying. In that month Gabriel quickly discovered he was a good shot with most weapons, but with a revolver he was an excellent one.)
