Summary
The thing about sleeping with someone like Smoker is that the sex is, shockingly enough, never really boring enough for Law to complain. But there are times when Law still wants more. He feels this urge to be a little mean, to feel like he has the upper hand in this thing they’ve got going on. He’s a cruel, sadistic pirate after all. He doesn’t like playing by the rules and sometimes he just simply needs to put the marine’s attack dog in his place.

A privilege to read. My heart aches and unshed tears are clouding my vision but the joy I’m feeling is immense.
His hands tighten just a little bit in the feathers of Cora’s coat, and he can feel the low rumble of a chuckle in Cora’s chest that proves the man can feel it. He never knows how to deal with Cora does this…this weird as fuck understanding of his deepest insecurities, and Law wants to push it away, to scream you don’t, you can’t every time it happens. But he’s so tired, and this is nice. So maybe he can just…let it happen. Like he has been letting it happen, more and more. Because he likes it, no matter what he keeps telling himself. And there’s so little to like, these days. Maybe he can just have this, for a little while longer.
