In the heart of Seoul, Club Nocturne offers an alternative experience for those seeking strong drinks, a good atmosphere, and perhaps something a little darker, if you know the right questions to ask.
For Ricky, as part of the coven of vampires who run the club, it's his usual hunting grounds. He's spent decades remaining perfectly detached with his routine: hunt, feed, erase their mind, then leave them with nothing more than a pleasant memory of the famous Ice Prince of Club Nocturne and puncture wound in their neck. Onto the next.
It's a routine that works. It's a routine that lets him stay under the radar, that doesn't bring too much unwanted attention to him or his coven.
But everything changes when a stranger walks into the club with an air of confidence that's so alluring that Ricky can't resist breaking his rules. Just this once.
But breaking the rules comes with consequences, especially at a time when bodies are piling up around the city and people are starting to ask questions about what really happens in the dark.

Hao and Hanbin spoke at the same time, anger meeting resignation in their words.
Hanbin's doing just fine. One failed situationship isn't enough to ruin his life (just don't ask Taerae how he's doing). He has his work, his friends, and he's thinking about dating again. Maybe. Life is a little less fine when his not-ex boyfriend reappears in his life, claiming to be a vampire who needs to protect Hanbin from an unknown enemy.

There's no logical explanation for what follows, except maybe that the line of Hanbin’s strong shoulders is far too enticing to resist, and that it has Zhang Hao biting his lips, unblinking, as he thinks about being pressed down a mattress, or any flat surface, really, by the man in front of him.
“I want to ride dick,” Zhang Hao blurts.

“They think a lot of things,” she says. “Some of them think you’re fighting. Some of them think you’re dating. Some of them think you’re doing alpha fanservice with a beta member, which I should not have to explain is a terrible idea. And some of them–”
“And some of them what?” Gyuvin asks.
The manager closes the tablet case. “Some of them are asking why you act like you know something they don’t.”
Ricky is a beta. Gyuvin doesn't treat him like one.
