Oboro had, for the greater part of her life, hated all Nohrians for what their kind had done to her parents. For the most part, it didn't change when the Hoshidans made peace with them. It did somewhat when her best friend married one. And it was completely shattered when her half-Nohrian nephew was born. From that day, she swore to protect him, no matter the cost, and love him despite his flaws.

Summary
“No more secrets,” he whispers. Niles’s brow raises. Odin’s face hurts from smiling so hard. “Finally, Niles, I can share everything. It’s over. We’re at the end.”
“Everything, hm?” he purrs.
“Everything,” Odin promises.
Niles leans in and whispers something in his ear that he can’t make out. The words don’t slot together, instead overlapping into a scrambled disaster.
“What was that?” Odin asks.
Niles repeats himself. Probably. He can’t tell. He realizes he’s confused, disoriented; the world around him is fading. He holds Niles tighter.
Then it begins.
After the battle with Anankos, Odin, Laslow, and Selena are all ripped from the lives they've built and thrust back to Ylisse with no way to return.

The embers on his cigarette glow and dim, and Albert looks away from Mycroft’s parted lips. He already knows where he’s going with this. “It might be time for you three to grow apart.”
Albert reminisces on past, present, and future, and his place in the world. Guilt is his crown of thorns to wear, but he must learn to move on.
