"I don't want him to feel awful," comes a sniffly reply, the kid turning his head to rest his cheek firmly across the bat insignia. Jason finally gets a good look at him and freezes in place.
The smell had seemed so familiar for a reason. The voice, despite being high pitched and watery, was also familiar. Everything about the kid was like a little tug at his mind because he does know this kid, and this kid knows him. Tim didn't escape from the wizard dude unscathed because he got turned into a fucking toddler who ran away from Dick, his literal hero, to find... Jason?
