Keigo Takami has never really celebrated his birthday.
When he was younger, he’d buy himself a slice of convenience store cake and a single candle. Then he’d congratulate himself for surviving another year and try very hard to think happy thoughts. He would imagine the life he would have as a Pro, the freedom his new life would grant him.
That all changed after his fifteenth birthday.
Because now the day no longer belongs to him.
Now it belongs to the little girl whose life he ruined.
Keigo Takami had delivered a powerful asset straight into the hands of the Hero Public Safety Commission with a smile on his face and stars in his eyes, too young and stupid to realize what he’d done.
(Or, Keigo "rescues" a child and spends the rest of his life regretting it.)

Summary
