Summary
“Jason, my man, I know you’re scared for him, but this is Percy Jackson we’re talking about,” Leo snorts. He claps Jason on the shoulder, his palm hot through the sleeve of his t-shirt. “I get the feeling the guy who killed Kronos can probably handle a little harpy infestation.”
“Percy didn’t kill Kronos,” is all Jason can think to say. His mouth and his brain are full of the last IM Percy sent, how deep the bags under his eyes were, how pale he looked. It wasn’t supposed to be a long quest; Leo is right that it's something Percy can handle no problem. So why does Jason feel like something horrible is going on? Why does it feel like he needs to go?

“You’re Nico di Angelo,” Jason Grace says, a tone of awe in his voice like the kids who toddle up to Jack in public. Nico squeezes his fist in his pocket and swallows the first, shaky instinct to shout something absurd and inappropriate about how Jason Grace has no right knowing his full name like that.
“My team calls me Angel,” he manages, which is a little more respectable. He glances around behind Jason’s head, trying to drag proper etiquette into his frontal lobe. What’s he supposed to say next? He cracks his thumbs. “You’re Jason Grace.” Dammit, fuck, that’s not it.
“Call me Jason,” Jason says, eyes squinting like a wince.
Nico winces too. “Jason, then.” Dammit. “Please don’t call me Angel.”
(Nico di Angelo meets Jason Grace in a dingy, dim-lit casino in Las Vegas. First thought: damn, he's pretty. Second thought: he is going to ruin my life.)

Will, sitting across from Nico on his bunk in Cabin 13, taps his makeup brush against the hard edge of an eyeshadow palette. The soft but firm bristles press into the crease of Nico’s eyelid, just a little bit too hard for comfort.
Will doesn’t say anything. He doesn’t even emote like he heard. Did he not hear? Or is he ignoring the question on purpose?
“Just- just forget I asked, I’m sorry. That was insensitive, and I-”
“Hush,” Will instructs.

Keith couldn't bear a universe that didn't have Shiro in it. What he got was a universe that had a Shiro that no longer loved him. And maybe if it had been anyone but Keith, that would have mattered.
Keith, however, had made a promise. "As many times as it takes," he'd said.
If he could make that promise reach beyond the bounds of death, a little thing like Shiro marrying someone else wasn't going to stand a chance.
