Jack shrugs, leaning his back against the bar behind him. Kath’s hands are warm against his denim-clad thighs. “You expect me to not watch ya when ya look like this?”
“Oh, sweetheart,” She murmurs, grinning as she cocks her head to the side. “You’re jealous.”
“Jealous?” Jack repeats, then rolls his eyes. “Please. I ain’t got nothin’ to be jealous about.”
Katherine’s grin doesn’t waver. “You’re jealous of David, aren’t you?”
