Summary
Seven years ago, Namjoon suddenly left. Leaving behind his pack, and his alpha mate and childhood neighbor, Jungkook, who became devastated when the omega refused to even face them one last time.
Today, Namjoon has returned after his mother’s death. But upon coming back, the omega meets his still rightfully furious pack, who warns Namjoon to stay away from them, especially from single dad Jungkook who now has twin pups of his own. The same pups who (secretly) keep on running to Namjoon’s house to befriend him.
Seven years is a long time, but there are things it can’t erase. The anger and resentment of a pack left behind, and the hurtings of a mate whose bond was severed against his will.
But, there’s another thing time can’t change… and that’s Namjoon’s insistence on keeping from Jungkook the real reason why he ran away.

“I was there when you signed those papers. Wasn’t it you that said he was only going to be your husband for the sake of the kingdom? Can you really blame him if he wishes to…seek different things with other people?”
His alpha hates Hoseok for what he just said. Namjoon is his. He’s his mate.
The word mate rings throughout his ears and that’s when he realizes just exactly why he’s been feeling jealous, what that feeling is that he’s been so scared of. He has feelings for Namjoon.
