Hao gawks as realization slaps him right across the face. As the three head back over to the booth, laughing loudly with each other, the other man's handsome face unveils itself to Hao, the bright grin and the smiling, crinkled eyes directed at Ricky and Gyuvin creeping into the light, and Hao is back at LAX, staring into those same, exact, smiling eyes that haven’t left his mind all night.

Summary
Oh…. the coach is hot? Like, probably in the top ten most handsome men Riku has ever seen in his entire life. He laughs at something Sakuya says - because that damn kid is always doing some kind of bit - and he’s pretty when he laughs, too. His eyes scrunch up and everything.
Riku blinks, comes out of his stupor, and nearly gapes at himself in horror.
Is he here, monologuing, about how hot his cousin’s tennis coach is? Really?!

Maeda Riku is twenty-one years old when his world ends. Ranked #39 male tennis player in the world with an Olympic silver medal, he tears his ACL during a game, and vows to never play again.
Two years later, he goes back to Japan to rebuild his life, only concerned with getting through the next day and watching One Piece and that's about it. But when his little cousin enrolls in tennis lessons, he's forced to face the world he's spent the past seven months desperately trying to leave behind. Something shifts, then. Inside of Euijoo. Around him. The entire world shifts, suddenly feeling so off-kilter that he feels slightly dizzy with it. Like it’s suddenly spinning on an axis that doesn’t exist.
No. This isn’t happening. This can’t be happening, because Euijoo has already seen that picture, 24 hours ago. He stared at it yesterday morning, while he was still fuzzy with sleep, feeling giddy over the slightly exposed skin. It’s not possible that he only just posted it, a mere two hours ago. Did he delete it, just to post it again? Maybe the engagement wasn’t as good as they had hoped, deciding to post it on a Saturday, instead?
Just as he’s about to click into the comments, to see if anyone is saying anything about the apparent repost, a notification comes through at the top of his screen.

Taki stiffens, his blades wobbling as he stops to look over his shoulder. “Excuse me?”
Maki’s holding his stare. He’s got long lashes, and Taki’s starting to think good things really do happen to jerk people. “Would it kill you to lighten up? We don’t wanna be here either.”

Out of all the challenges he faces as figure skater, Taki would humbly put being forced to share a rink with the local hockey club at the very top of the list. Particularly the team’s new defender, a rough and tumble boy with distracting dimples and a smart mouth.
Who also manages to bowl Taki over on the very first day.
(or: taki is a figure skater with something to prove to himself. maki is a hockey player with something to prove to everyone else. they collide. literally.)
