Will shakes his head, swallowing thickly.
“No, mom, you don’t get it. This isn’t just a silly crush. I’ve been in love with him for as long as I can remember. I can’t lose what we have now— I can’t lose our friendship. I won’t.”
Mike closes his eyes, breathing hard. He can’t believe what he’s just walked in on.
The world is ending, and Mikes best friend has been in love with him for as long as he claims to remember.
