Scara narrowed his eyes. "A deal?""Let's say in a few years, when we started to live our adult life, started to be independent, having a job like anyone else, but we still haven't found anyone - you know - interesting, you have to give me a chance."
Scara opened his mouth, fully intending to shoot back with some sarcastic remark or at least try to brush it off somehow. But the words never came. Instead, there was just that long pause, only filled with the sound of his racing heart.
And before he could think better of it, the word slipped out. "Deal."
