It’s a marvel to Sam how the creature before him can still love so much.
Dog licks his cheek with a cold tongue. Paws at his chest with gangrenous stumps. Spends every last minute with a big, gummy smile. He submits happily to Sam’s constant cuddling, allows his stiffening body to be moved any which way, accepts whatever mystery pills Sam shoves down his throat with futile hope-
And still, still, licks away Sam’s tears - which are, by now, near constant.

“That’s not normal…” he whispered. “Not normal at all.”Panic hit him fast. He snatched his phone and started typing into Google as quickly as his fingers would move: “white tips on hair at 15?” “sudden hair change?” “is this an infection?” “am I dying!?”
Most of the answers said it wasn’t harmful, just a condition that some people have. That should have calmed him down—but it didn’t. He still felt embarrassed, almost ashamed, like having it made him stand out in the wrong way.

Summary
A time skewed second season in which Tony has healed from his accident and Cassie stays in Scotland. Sid lives alone after his father's death, but continues to party with his friends. Everything's pretty good, considering, until Sid goes to a party in the woods, blacks out, and wakes up with a nasty bite on his shin. After trying to deal with his new status by himself he brings Tony into it; a move made far more complicated by the wolf bringing up suppressed feelings that Sid needs to deal with.
