What if, in an alternate universe, Alex Fierro and Samirah al-Abbas were raised together?
When Mr. Fierro and his wife immediately reject Alex when Loki shows up with her as a new born, Loki knows that no amount of Charmspeak in the world can convince the Fierro's to take Alex in.
In an act of desperation, Loki goes to Ayesha al-Abbas, the only person he think of who is deserving of the blessing and gift of two demigod children, and pleads with her to take Alex in and raise Alex and Samirah together.
What is life like for Alex, being raised with the care and love she always deserved? What's it like for Samirah, growing up with her sibling?
What if Ayesha doesn't die when her children are young? What if she lives to see Samirah become a Valkyrie? To live through the devastating loss of Alex, only to find out that Alex isn't really gone, he's been brought to Valhalla by none other than his big sister, Samirah.
